HI, I got a Honda and not real sure what it is exactly...(given to me.) From what i can gather on the sticker it says (i think) ATC? and then 183S 1982
the VIN on the frame is JH3TB0100CC244442 It's pull start, chain drive, square headlight... that's about all i know... and it's missing the IGN. coil.. where can i find one of these? Also I have a chance to get another for $100. needs carb work... good deal? Thanks for any and all help.

Welcome to 3 Wheeler World! Yes, you have a 1982 Honda atc 185s. You can post an add in the classifieds for the ignition coil, Im sure someone would have one.

Oh, and for $100 I would pick up the other one as long as its complete.

Nope the 185 is not the same as the 200, close but different. Here is the vin chart that someone posted before.

OK.. thanks for all the help.. seems like a great bunch of folks and a great forum so far! was told the other one is a 200 but who knows. Which one is "better" if either?

If its an older 200 (like 81 or 82) I think most if not all of those models had 25 inch tires instead of 22's. They were more of the "utility" ATC where the 185 was the "sport" model, kinda.

OK, thanks... Not sure what tires the other one is yet, but the 185 has 25X12X9 on it now.
