We are having an endurance race at the end of the race season. This will be a two man team riding one machine. You will be able to pit at any point in the race to switch riders. We are planning to run 60 laps on the scramble track. There are no jumps on this track and any quad or trike may enter. Its basically run what you have.

This will be held at bobs family raceway http://www.bobsfamilyraceway.com/
Located in central Mi between Lasning and Grand Rapids, very easy to get to from the expressway. You can find pics on the website of the track, its a big horseshoe shape but they are going to lengthen the track by adding in the two lanes of the sand drag track.

If you want to come check out the track there is a scramble on Sep 25th and another on Oct 9th, last two races of the season before the endurance race.

If we can get a few trikes to show up at one of the last two scramble events you can run the scramble for free in your own class. It will be an exibition race but Bob usually gives out a trophy to the winner. Again, run what you have. The bare minumum would have to be two trikes but I would like to see at least four or five. I will bring mine if a few others will show up. I will have to run both quad and trike class but I'm up for it if I can get a few of you guys to show up.

I have been racing this track all year with a 250r against everything you can think of, 350's 400's 450's 650's 700's, you name it it has been there, except I havn't seen one trike show up where they are welcomed.

You would need a teather, helmet, goggles, gloves and long sleeve shirt along with some type of boots. You really don't need a number plate but you do need to have numbers visible, most guys just use tape on the fenders and on the back of the shirt.

We need at least 2 machines (trikes) to have their own class in the scramble race. If we can get some for the endurance race they may run them all together depending on how many machines show up. There is enuff room to start 10 machines on the front row, any more than that and they will more than likely make up a second class. We have never had more than 9 machines show up.

The endurance race will be 60 laps and the track is 1/2 mile long once they add in the 2 lanes of the drag strip. We are expecting this race to last right around an hour, probably just under an hour for most people.

We plan to run a test race at one of the next two scrambles, 5 to 10 laps to see how we like it. If it is not up to par they will fix it for us before the actual endurance race.

I will have more details on payout and trophies after this coming weekend. Normally, payout and trophies go back to 3rd position but I will check and see if this is going to be the same way. We had discussed a winner take all and payout be set at around $500 but that was not taken any further than discussion.

I do know that it will be $25 to enter for each person, not per team and a lap counter will be needed so you actually need to bring 3 people. Also, your lap counter will be counting another teams laps, not yours, to keep it fair.
