one stock 200s one200s with custom swing arm and with monoshock uni filter couple other engine mods done not sure my uncle installed them and has a 200x exhaust both 200s s are 1984 does the front forks off a 200x work on a 200s because i think they look better and they have more travel than 200s forks

dude, no offence, but PLEASE use some grammer and periods or commas!!

i could barely understand what you were asking, but heres the jist I got:

you have one stock 200s and one 200s with a custom swingarm, mono shock, and other goodies. They are both 1984 for the year, do the forks off a 200X work on the 200s because you think they look better and have more travel.

Sorry i cant help answer the question, but, if it was myself doing it, i would just swap the whole front end, then you got triple clamps, disc brake, and the longer travel forks, plus it looks super cool ;)

Good luck on your project

I agree with Honda200 all the way. We need some more grammar around here.

Yes you can swap a 200x front end over but you will need the whole front end (shocks, tripple tree, axle, hub, wheel, brakes, brake lever). About the only things you can use from the 200s is the handle bars, kill switch, throttle, and rear brake lever.

how much do you think it cost(estimate)

Is that a trick question? It will cost however much it will cost you for the whole X front end assembly.. (although my guess would be between $100 and $150.)
See what you can find on eBay and price it. Then put an ad in the Classifieds on here and see if anyone can give you a better deal.

And like he said.. please use grammar and proper English..
Ooh yes. And try not to post so much.. Don't post a ton of 4 word posts. Your Post Per Day count is over 24, and I thought mine was very high at 12..

I think we all would like to see this 200s with the custom swingarm. Is it the kit that was out for them or it is truley a one off made swingarm?

Just to correct you (others do this too) the term monoshock really refers to a Yamaha. All others would just be called a single shocker.

A little history here :The monoshock 1st came out on the Yamaha motox bikes in the late 70's.

Honda was Pro-Link
Kawasaki was Uni-Trak........... later Uni- trak was dropped and they copied off the Honda's
Suzuki was Full-Floater............ they did the same as above

All four actually refered to the linkage system though but were single shocker's.

I could be wrong but I thought anything with one rear shock was monoshock. Yamaha was mono-x or mono-cross.

Nope, Yamaha was most definitly monoshock.

The early twin shock DTs were desperately ordinary bikes and sales were not impressive. But after Yamaha had pioneered long travel, monoshock rear suspension after taking Belgian Lucien Tilkien’s novel idea to production things were set to change. The system revolutionised motocross and Yamaha won the 1973 250cc World Motocross championship with the first monoshock racer. It was about to have the same impact on trail bikes.

you can either upload your pictures onto a web server, try a few of these places:

www.photobucket.com

www.blogupload.com

upload the picture to the site as a jpeg file, then either use html, or the paste picture button that does the link to the picture

or, you could simply use the file attatchment tool on here, its 3/4 way down the page, it says "manage attatchments"
