Avatar how do you resize them???

hi i have been tryin to set my Avatar on the forum but can't resize them small enough.....i'm using photoshop to resize but it will only let me go down to 18mb for the picture what ever i do????? any ideas guys?????Howdy???

I haven't used photoshop so I can't help you figure it out. Maybe someone else that uses photoshop can chime in here and give some advice.

I personally use PSP7 and it's easy to do, but a 18MB file won't fit in my email.

Yes, its very easy. You open the file in photoshop then you go to edit or view I think ( I am not using my computer at home) and you choose 'image size' . Then, just select the new size you want and it will shrink it. It may look a little small there but its ok. Save it as a new file and you are all set to import it to the forum. I think it has to be smaller than 200 k or so. It will give you a good estimate of the file size when you resize it. Check the properties of the new file just to make sure. The limit for hotmail is 10 mb. I can get things bigger than that just cant send it any bigger. That should not be a problem. However, since I am not at home in Texas, I can't do it for you on this new computer that does not have this program.
