I got this tri moto 125 today dunno what year it is but i have a few questions,

on the carb theres a dial * can spin with your fingers is that the idle screw?
whats the compression suppose to be on a 125 tri moto?
i dont see a switch for the head and tailight what does it automatically come on when the bikes running?
i thought tri moto 125s didnt have forks with shocks?

places to get parts besides ebay?

I messed around for a few mins trying to fire it over no luck so i poked around a bit and seen a puddle of gas in the intake box bike has spark 120 psi of compression but didnt even fire over.

This is my first tri moto so any info about these bikes would be appreciated :TrikesOwn

Yes, that is the idle speed adjustment screw.
Not sure what the compression should be exactly, but 120 sounds to be about right.
Yes the lights come on as soon as you start the trike.
I know the earlier (1980 or so) had no front suspension, but maybe the later ones did. My 1983 175 has shocks.
Depending what you need, some parts are still available from Yamaha. Otherwise, the classifieds on here, Ebay, or ATV salvage yards.

dont forget the oil injetor ...make sure its full before you start it!! to me 120 sounds on the low side.....should still run tho, if it had a puddle of gas in the air box it was either on its end/side or the floats are seriously out of wack.
