Got a newbie question for you guys. I have a 83-83 (not sure) yamaha ytm 200. Is there such a thing as aftermarket exhaust for these things? Or is it wishful thinking?

DG makes one, check on denniskirk.com I have one on mine. It sounds ok, a little loud, but I always have trouble fitting it without having a exhaust leak at the head.
If your stock one is full of rust holes, I say you should get one. It is pretty well a stock replacement, not much of a power differance.

Thanks, I'll check it out :beer
The cobra pipe and header will give you a perfomance differance. You will be able to go quicker through the gears quicker. It makes you get up to your higher speed quicker. If you have your clutch set firm you will really no a differance.

Cobra pipe for the YTM200 are discontinued, DG's the last option, unless you find something on ebay or somewhere else.
I know people will disagree, but I've owned both Cobra, and DG pipes and no performance differance with them. They're just loud.
