year and model of my tri moto through vin #

I was ondering if anyone can tell me the year and model of my tri moto threw my vin numbers i see there a few diffrent models of 125 tri motos and am wondering which i have cause i need to buy some parts.

frame vin 5v64004162
engine vin 5v6-004162

Call the parts department at your local Yamaha dealer, give them the VIN # & they'll be able to tell you what year & model it is.

I knew I had this on my computer somewhere...

EDIT: I didnt realize there were no listings in there for the 125's. Sorry I cant help ya. But like freewheel3 said, phone your dealer.

Can anyone answer this question? i know the trikes a 125 but it has suspension front forks on it like a 175 did the 125 come with suspension forks ever?

also are the forks just a spring or do they have fluid in them?

125's were never suspended.
You must have an aftermarket frame. I guess there pretty rare by the sounds of it.
The front forks should have fluid in them.

Yea, It probaly is 175 front suspension, I just checked the specs page and it says the 175's had it.

I cant help ya out with the year though, sorry about that.
