Bikes I used to ride regularly. 1990 KX125 and 1987 KX500 (my oldest brother's) Loved em both. The 125 got sold to buy an LT80 for my daughter and the 500 got sold to buy a 68 LeMans. Man I miss them. :(

I respectfully disagree. Where is the right section? ....Isn't reader rides put in by the mods?? I think this is an enjoyable thread... Whats cooler on a three wheeler web site than some recent and updated pics of the three wheelers that the board members have in their possession :w00t: . When I surfed the site before I joined I sought out the pics of these great machines and was very excited to find threads with cool :pics:

Ahhhhh.....Whew ....OK... :beer we are on the same page... Since he originally posted a pic of a trike I figured he just "called" his trike a bike. Lets see some "recent" pics of our trikes AKA:: 3 wheelers, ATCs, The coolest machines ever made...guys and gals.

Such a nice collection you have but there is one thing missing.............

............a nice garage floor! Ever think of using the 2 part epoxy paint on it or better yet a black and white vinyl checkerd floor? :naughty:

Those trike deserve a nice floor to hang out on!

Are you right here on the map?

http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.adp?go=1&cat=&1a=&1c=&1s=&1z=18080&1y=&2ex=1&src=maps&ct=NA&2a=&2c=Orange%20County%20Community%20College&2s=NY&2z=&2y=US&2pn=&2l=i6WGpqpg3Cg%3d&2g=B6RMf%2ftt6%2bw%3d&2v=CITY&2pl=

If so, cool, I'm only a little over 2 hours from you. Can I venture up sometime?

Hey glad you noticed the storage situation. A 1600 sg foot workshop will be done by next summer with actual hardwood stages of various heights for these machines to sit on ( the 81 R will be on the highest stage in the middle) I have 16 old 10 foot floor joists to cut up and make the stages out of. With each stage will be an area for the original brochures and memorabilia for each machine. Its going to be very cool.

 1/2 the size.............it's BIGGER then mine!

What makes the 81R the king of the mountain? Biggest project or perhaps because that's what started the 2 stroke craze in trikes ?

I got an idea, since the 81 is the king, have that platform rotate with lights shining up on a vintage disco ball. Ah,ah,ah,ah staying aliiiiive, staying aliiiive!

I redid an 81 one time for a freind . He's the type that doesn't take care of anything. After it was done I meet up with him to go riding and the thing is a filthy mess and he has a chain on my nice fresh paint to secure it down.  Shows a lot of appreciation, ya know.

Very nice Z but why such a wimpo picture?

Here are a few of mine.

1st - bought that way - needs work $75

2nd - bought that way - needs a little work $150

3rd - my favorite and didn't look like that at all when I bought it $100

4th - is my neighbor right aside of me, gets used a few hours each year just for yard work with trailer attached and it's all original except tires. Most likely never gets out of 2nd gear. With out a doubt would fetch 15-2000 on ebay!

5th - is going to be my Bumble Bee and one of these days or months I'll finish it. no $$ was free

6th - is sold to a member on here

The camo job will be sold when done and one of the yellow ones but can't make up my mind which one

:Bounce Soon to be added is the rare 1987 125 M

If you're ever in the neighbourhood in Jan,/Feb./March, be sure and drop by. LOL (Actually, you're only a 16-hour drive away.)
Trully, we are blessed with thousands of miles of trails like this in summer, and now our clubs are all getting into grooming the trails in winter. It's unreal! No muck, no mosquitoes, no dust, just hundreds of miles of the smoothest trails, smoother than a brand new paved highway.
It's now at the point where many riders actually prefer winter riding. Seriously.
Trail pass = $75 per winter, to pay for gas and maintenance on the groomer, which is actually a snowmobile trail groomer. Very expensive to run those things.
Best $75 I ever spent. I used to DESPISE winter. Now I book a week's holidays for Feb. every year and just ride, ride and ride some more.
Cheers
