I assume you have a honda 200, the unsuspended model with 25" tires. I think it is just that people tend to move up to the suspended sport trikes (200x, 350X, 250R), or to the later suspended utitlity models (250sx, 250es).
My first trike was a 82 185s, which I rode the crap out of in the 80s (when I was young). I do not think my body could take that kind of abuse now, so I compensate with suspension. I finally sold it because it just did not get used when I have several other suspended models.
Because I use them around the property, I probably spend more time in the saddle of my utility trikes than I do my 350X, they are all fun.

Ryan why do you have to be so gay?? The 200 series was popular and still is to us poor redneck folk in western NY. I have one, you have the 200 and the S, swage (Somekindofjerk) has a 185. Someday we will be able to afford something with suspension.

There's nothing wrong with the non-suspended trikes, they are very classic and vintage looking. Good for collections! And those 200's are great in the mud! :D

I have an 83 200. My favorite 3wheeler. Best trail ATC I've ridden. Has front susp which helps, but I don't mind the lack of rear susp. I just keep the tires between 3 and 5 psi.

I've also got a 1983 atc200. This was the only atc 200 with front suspension. the 81's and 82's did not have it.

Im here supporting the ole 83 200. Nice little thing, great for mud, wheelies and winter riding. Or just even taking a little bomb around on.

Speaking of Somekindofjerk...............HE IS A JERK
He wanted to buy A 185 I had and I had tons of patience with waiting for the money or rather the deposit. Week after week went by with an excuse here, an excuse there as to why he didn't send it yet.
"the mail at my place doesnt ship till this thursday here. something about a holiday for the mail company... anyways i will send 160dollars tomarow(thursday)" ..........
allso i would pay you the other 600 upon arrival of my house................. like i said in my other email i will send the money this sunday or monday...............
like i said though the 100 dollars i could mail to you if you give me your address(phone would be good to, just to chat aye?) then it would take like 3-7 days to get to you. then you could call me or whatever to see when you could deliver it.
On and on and on an I even agreed to deliver the thing with only charging for gas one way
Finally he just never got back to me anymore SO BEWARE, WATCH OUT and don't do him any favors!
So because of him he has now wrecked it for all the other yonger ones on these forumns because now I must have a deposit with in a few days because I have a fear of being jerked around like he did to me

If he doesn't want it, then ebay it goes unless someone else is interested.

I got an 82 and an 83, theyre good for when you are young like myself and dont mind the thrashing of a bumpy field in 5th gear. I am a headbanging kind of guy so it works for me!

i love my 200s but its so rough keeping up in the bumps.
Im thinking about building a auto200x (cross between a 200s and a 200x) just to have the suspension because i love the 200 engine, but who knows why not build a 200x when im puting in all the time, right?

A buddy of mine has an '82 200, seems like an alright machine, I havent ridden it yet though, any of you guys feel like the 200 gives up in the top end of 4th and 5th? He's been complaining that it's just wont rev up as high in the top gears.

Off the topic question does rear suspension give you more traction since the tires dont seem to spin as much

trikes=fun, the rear suspension does give slightly better traction, keeping the wheels on the ground more, but the big difference is when going over mogles the back end dosent get catapulted up as much.
