Does any one know the thread pitch on the 85 250r 20mm axle nut? Messed mine up taking them off. I got the threads on the axle cleaned up but need new nuts.

I believe all of the axles are fine threaded pitch of 1.00mm for the axle / swinger locknuts and 1.25mm for the hub castled locknut nuts.

I can't seem to find a castle nut in 20mm with that fine if a thread pitch. I've checked with all the auto parts and shops here and nobody has them and I don't want to spend 5.00 a piece. Any suggestion on were to find some fairly cheap? Just checked Service Honda and they want 9.00 a piece.

No I mean the locknut for the swingarm bearings are 1mm pitch not the hub. The hub should be 1.25mm pitch. I'll see if I have any extras and will let you know tomorrow after work if I do work(damn rain).

I ran into the same thing last year....no one locally had them, so you may have to order them unless someone on here has them for you. The seem to be as hard to find as a pot of gold when you need them, but once you have them they will pop up everywhere...nature of the beast I guess...???

Well I found them at Oriely's today. An old guy that works there was looking through some of their supplier books and found them under spindle nuts. They are still alittle high at 6.26 apiece. But I need to ride it tommorow. I've had withdraws for weeks while waiting on parts and I will wait no longer. Thanks guys for all the help.
