I think I need my head examined. I am here in IRAQ 6,000 miles from home, don't even own an 86 honda 250r and just bought a complete set of factory honda plastic for $500 from cal-atv. See what happens when you get limited ebay exposure. You get stupid when you finally get a chance to go on it. Now this means when i get home I got to buy a 250r. Funny, I have been looking for new plastic for my tri-z's for 2 years now and still can't find it and I wind up buying new plastic for a bike I don't own. Anybody else do the same thing or am I the only nitwit here.

Wow, iraq huh? About 10 of my mates are over there. They say it sucks balls when * go to a porta potty(they're mechanics so i dnno) an ** carryin ** m-16 an * see gunn holes all through the porta potty. Lol * know were proud, stay safe!

I can't speek for everyone, but I support you guys 100%. I wish there was a way to send trikes to all of you. Do you have any time for fun? Keep safe and keep looking. I am sure one will come along that you can get. After you get back to the states come look me up. I'll let you ride my 200x.

I just left the Green Zone last month.
And yes, I was bidding for parts on ebay and hopeing that the parts would show up. Every item was just fine when I got home.

On Camp Victory, I saw a Kawasaki 700 cruising around and took a pic of it.

hey thanks for the support guys. I am in southern IRAQ just outside of nasiriyah. Its called tallil air base. I have been here since DEC 20th. To compliment my stupidity of buying parts for bikes I don't have, I just extended here for 6 more months. I just got promoted to Staff Sergeant and I could use the extra money. (TO buy more parts) :-). It sucks cause my unit is leaving on NOV 28th, but I am just going to bite the bullet. I get to come home in MAR for leave and then I will be through on MAY 28th. Hopefully its not to bad. As far as riding goes, when I get home I am going to ride for 2 months straight. Man I miss it. I am from Brooklyn NY but I am moving to Pennsylvania. I've had a house up there for a while and I'm going to make it my permanent home. I know that alot of guys out here are from PA. I am located near lehighton PA. Not far from where HUFFA lives. About 30mi. north of allentown. I have an 86 350x, (3 tri-z's, 2 85's, 1 86) , an 86 tecate(in pieces) and hopefully soon a 250r to go with the new plastic. I am going to ride the crap out of all of them. I may even take my brothers banshee out to. Anyway, This board is great and has helped a bunch since I've been out here. It kinda keeps you in touch with home and the things you left behind. I hope when I get back I can hook up with some of youse guys and go for a spin. Well, gotta go, take care for now.

hey I will agree that those Cal ATV parts looks sweet!! I love those pics! Nothing wrong with buying parts, since it will keep you looking to the future.
