Lookin good man. I was on the Tecate in the sand today and it seems like shortshifting gets the best result. Best of luck to ya although with that bike I dont imagine luck will have much to do with it. Cheers!

That 500 should rip up on just about everything Ralph! Best technique I've found is to just roll onto the throttle for the start and then hammer it once you get moving. You can just dump the clutch and hold on but you gotta be set up just about perfect to get good enough traction.

today was the day. i finally dragged my atc 500. i went with the 15 front and 39 rear sprocket, 22/10/8 maxxis 4 snow, a sturt and lowered the front end of the bike. first mistake was the sturt...all she did was wheelie that's when i lowered the front end of the bike but the front wheel would hit the pipe. i need a smaller front tire. i will be putting my shock back on. also for some reason about 225 feet the bike lose power. as long as i played with the throttle is stayed running until i slow down. she never shut of tho...i believe the float is incorrect. but i had fun...the next race is the 26th...so i will try to put on the 12 in. extened swingarm, get a smaller front tire and adjust the carb or buy a bigger one....
