I picked up an 83 Honda 100 and an 84 Suzuki 185 . 600 bucks for both.

They both run but need some cosmetic work. I am a total trike n00b.

Anything I should know about these? Where can I find parts for them?

Thanks! :beer

I think the suzuki is a pretty rare trike. Its a ALT 185. Congrats.

It maybe very hard to find parts for that honda 100? I think it may be a 90 or 110! :p

yeah it' a 110

the 110 problems - no rear brake, carb float bowl leak

the 185 problems - will not idle ( the slide? is damaged)

That's pretty much it

Put an add in the classifieds here or look on ebay for the carbs and you'll be riding in no time! got pics?

I will post up some pics tonight when I get home. They are in the back of my truck here at work right now :beer

I can't help but laugh at that statement HAHA. Kinda like when I hopped off my 450r yesterday, and got onto my rancher, or even 350x..kinda made them feel wortheless. But today when we were dragging out my brothers buck, the rancher proved herself yet again:naughty: I'll post some pics lateron

Just got back from a good two hour ride in the desert. Both held up just fine!!

In case you are wondering YES that is my backyard I do not have to trailer or transport them. I just drive out of my garage and into offroad paradise.

the alt185 before ( above) and after:

Changed the oil, cleaned up the engine.

I fixed the rear fender (tie wraps and some plastic) then cleaned it up, sprayed it with some krylon fusion and replaced the headlight with some driving lights.

Now all I need is some new tires and I am ready to go.

the 110 is will also get some new paint as well as a new seatcover, fixing the rear brakes, new front brake lever, carburetor rebuild, and new tires.

185 AFTER:

btw, if you cant find new plastics, just get some jb weld and krylon fusion. i plastered the jb weld over the 6'' gash on my front fender, sanded it after it dried so that it went with the shape, and painted it.

it looks great!
