Has anybody heard anything good, bad, indifferent about the four wheelers from China. I would like to see and ride one before I bought one and would like some feedback from the riders first.

Dont get them. You'll never find parts. Or anything aftermarket. Spend the extra couple hundred and get somthin better.

I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from China except for fireworks. I'm convinced they are trying to kill off the rest of the world with faulty, cheap and dangerous products. Its their way of winning the cold war.

Just from what I have read in DIRTWHEELS the chinese quads are usually bad copies of ATVs that are already made.(e.g. ADLY INTERCEPTOR) They are usually poorly suspended and have poor fit and finish. The motors are usually copies of Honda motors. They are usually 1500-2000 cheaper.

You only get what you pay for. What you save in initial purchase price, you will spend ( plus some ) in repairs. Personally China should keep their crap at home until they can show proof that it's good quality. Of course if they did that Wal Mart would have to close their doors ( YIPPEEE!!! ).

I also think every ATV and dirtbike they make are the same one except different names and graphics. For ex. If you buy a 50cc from motojet and a 50cc from kazuma. Its going to be the same quad but with a different name. I would never buy one. There junk. Go out and buy a used honda if your looking for something cheap.

my buddy bought one that looked just like an older Blaster. It came from Pep-Boys. The peice of junk broke one its first time out. When he took it apart to find the problem he discovered two PLASTIC gears in side the bottom end had broken. Then he could not get replacments. He had to go to a machine shop and have them special made from steel. Stay away from those things. You will simply be throwing your money away.

Yea, I learned the hard way. I bought my boy one of those A&A auto parts mini bikes. They are very cheaply made. I've had alot of problems with it already.

He only really rides it around the yard but one day I was sitting on the porch watching him all of a suddun I don't see him no more. The nuts that hold the rear swingarm on vibrated loose. And the bolt came halfway out causing the swinger to fall off! He was unhurt but he busted the fiberglass fender off it. I've also had carb problems, brake caliper and some other minor things. They have a quick release style (like on newer bicycles) clamp that hold the handlebars on! I'll never buy another one weather it be a bike or a quad.

EXACTLY!!!!!!:w00t: :beer i said this exact thing in the thread about the chinese induro or something... if you do an ebay search on atv you see a million different brands, and the same mass produced piece of junk!!!!!

alot of people around me buy those things, their almost disposable. i dont think they know that any older honda, yammi, or zuki, will run excellent when kept up. id rather have a 25 year old honda then some crappy asian knock off.

btw, if any of you in az look in sundays checker auto ad, youl see some knockoff 300cc four stroke bike. the frame looks just like a blaster, but with a crappy 300 chinese motor
heres the funny part, and i quote"
"produces 27.9 horsepower" hahahahahaha is this bull**** or what?

Thanks for the info. I think I'll just hold off until a good used Honda/Yamaha 4 wheeler in my price range comes by. I think you guys are right. My 200x is 20 years old and still runs and drives good.

produces 27.9 horsepoweryeah, for about 10 seconds - then it blows up, killing the unsuspecting driver.

Well, thats cause the only way it can make 27.9 horses is because they dynotested it running straight Nitrous oxide and disengaging the rev limiter, then running a 500 tooth rear sprocket on it. :D It dont go fast, but you can pull locomotives through mud with it. Itll just take a few years.
