I finally got my 310r back in action, I broke the motor in yesterday at a njorvp.org(more resembles a tt track than a mx track), then today I rode a small track in the woods and I went to another mx track and rode untill 5pm. I forgot how much I love my 250r, I've been on my quad for the past 5 months and I rode my 200x from time to time. I put a 39 pwk to replace the 38 a/s and a paul turner hi-rev pipe to replace the esr atc 5, also it got a new elka shock custom built for the atc. with this setup you can really feel the powervalve work, you can lug it in 3rd gear(almost a complete stop), open the throttle all the way and it pull like a freight train, even 4th you can. this bike is incredible and handles so perfect, I'd like to revalve the forks for more compression(if you can).

310's are sweet, I have one also. Mine is not a powervalve though, I wish it was. I have mine set up for drag racing, man I love the horsepower.:w00t:

I'm told non-pwercalves are better for dragging, because the powervalve restricts the height of the exhaust port and smooth power isn't needed for dragging. you have a pro-x cylinder or a stock resleave? my friends are scared to hell of my bike and really wonder how I can ride mx with it and not have it wheelie all the time. I have one friend who isn't scared of my bike(actually he rode it for about 20 minutes today, but he didn't feel comfortable jumping it)

Yes mine is a pro-x. It is perfect for what I do with it. I just need to get my trans worked so I can shift it faster. These pro-x jugs have amazing top end & are hard to handle on a stock swing arm. Mine is plus 5", & she is pretty low:beer

Lol deathman, I don't know where you'd use all that hp on a MX track, crazy to think about. My T3 is fast around the local sandpit/jumps, can't imagine pinning it over the whoops. Props to you.

I have a more powerfull mx quad than the trike, I have a crf450r quad that is ported/polished, tc exhaust, and a its a 488. my trike is faster(due to less weight), but the quad has more horsepower and I use every ounce of power from both. I like powerfull bikes very much. I still have yet to get totally used to the bike, it will be a few times till I use the bike to it full potential. I used to have a 330 kit, didn't like it, didn't rev very quickly, my woods atc has my ported/polished cylinder that I used before and that cylinder was quite fast too. I have a 86 200x thats quite fast also, nothing crazy is done to it, but its fast for a 200x.
Dammit!

hrc85250r, That big fat end is a add on spark arester + my pipe has a welded on silencer you can't get into silver lake sand dunes without a silencer or spark arrester. I did'nt know that sand would burn. They also can't be crazy loud, but mine is far from quiet. The spark arester has a big outlet, so it does'nt hinder the performance any.
