My friend has a 86 or 87 yamaha moto 4 80cc for his daughter and it has a issue. I donsen't idle and it bogs out when you give it gas. He has cleaned the carb, fresh gas and clean air filter.

Sounds like it might need a carb rebuild and maybe the float needs adjusting?

Probably not enough gas getting to the carb... i had that happen on my 110. Check the tank for rust (if metal) and make sure the gas lines dont have any obstructions.

Small Displacement Yammis Have apparently have a problem with Exhaust restriction---Tim Sr has a Post about it , but I cant seem to find it. It was about the 60 cc Trizinger trikes- Check into it.
