I have looked around here for a long time for a Z and this one popped up two days ago. I went and checked it out this afternoon and here's the story behind it. It was brought to the local Yamaha shop in 1997 because it wouldnt run. Yamaha found out that it needed a top-end, they couldnt get ahold of the customer and he never came back. Now here in late 2005 they have finally let it go to one of there employees that knew i was looking for one. The front fender is Original with no breaks, the headlight shroud it the same way, the Radiator shrouds (no pictured) are perfect as well. the top end and all the parts are amazing still in the box and bags that Yamaha put them in back when they were working on the machine. The rear fenders are gone, Front master cyclinder is missing and a few other things. I have already worked a deal with the Current owner to get it in the Garage but before I say what we agreed on I want everyone to tell me what they would give for something like this and ya'lls overall opinion of it.

It will be a couple weeks (prolly 3) before I am going to be able to take delivery. After that, there's not just a whole lot that needs to be done here so I am going to try to nickel and dime it back into one piece and maybe be done with it sometime around Febuary maybe...

I know exactly what you mean by nickle and dime. That is what my Z is doing to me now,It seams like every little mod I did multiplied into more little parts I needed to make the original mod work.LOL
