Home now..(since 1230). Glad I made the trip. I am just slightlly hung-over, I'm tired & my knee HURTS! I sure hope SOMEBODY got THAT on film. I will post up a few pics and maybe a vid clip. It saw way too muddy for Dawn to get any serious amounts of footage. (Big thanks for what you could get) She was busy helping take care of the riders and all the machines entering and leaving the pit/rider swap area were tossin piles of mud around.

Thanks go out to the Ohio Crew, especially to Rick for letting me (then Max) beat up on his R for a couple hours.
B and Max, thanks for puttin me up for a couple nights. Charlie, tell your sweetie thanks for the "water".

I may be heading out next weekend with the wife. (if I can arrange babysitting)
Rick, if I do, I will bring along that pipe for you. L8R peeps!

Check back later for some sneaky spy pics of somebody's ATC500R conversion in progress. ;)

cool pics, and video.thanks to everyone for coming out.i know the mud makes it hard to have a good time, but it was still alot of fun.everytime we go now it seems we got a class full of trikes.thats awesome, and i hope everyone can make it out for mx this year.as for the harescrambles,i'm done.they are too hard on the machines, and cleaning up sucks.i thought everyone rode really well.we all should be proud we even finished.thanks again guys,i had a good time ridin with you all!!!!!!!!!!

So here's the results.

Derrick Adams & 3leggeddog: 1st place w/ 34 laps *7th overall*
Jason Hall & Hired Gun: 2nd place w/ 26 laps (minor mechanical failures)
Speedbump & Max: 3rd place w/ 20 something laps (crashes and breakdowns)
Garageboy: 4th place w/ 20 laps (Ironman)
Jmack and friend: 5th place w/? laps (mechanical failures)

We had a few trikes go down this time around. I also saw quite a few stuck here or there. Overall another great race. I have to say Congratulations to Brandon on his first "1st place" trophy with a 3 wheeler! Also, great job to Rick for finishing the race and donating his other trike to Craig and Max.:w00t: Rick is one that I see get better and better everytime I ride with him!

Glad to see all you guys came thru again and made a great race. For those that didn't make it, there were almost as many trikes racing as quads this time around!

jmack, and his partner camden had 19 laps.lost of breakdowns and stuck bikes.i don't know why we do this racing,it's terrible.the only thing that makes it worth it is beatin up on some quads!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats my excuse,i did get t-boned.and they say trikes are dangerous.man, atleast i knew what i was doin.that guy on the quad got straight off the short bus,and on his bike.:wondering :wondering

derric garage boy had 19.1 laps and camden and i had 19. i really demand a recount cause if i am correct we should have been ahead since we did cross the finish line. but oh well when i droped camden off at his house we went down to "the playground and i concoured one of the hills that is so loose and steep at the first 30 feet of it that it is hard to do on a bike but i got her, that is in the woods near the construction site. another thing camdens brother christian lives in roseville ohio which is right next to zanesville, he asked the sherriff there if he was aloud to ride his quad on the road, the sherriff said he was aloud after 6 and if it was loud to he had to stop at 9. you know the rest of it obey the traffic laws and no show boating. so if there is a good spot to go riding there then we will all have to go out there and um tear it up.

Kintore, That is my 85-R in the first picture. The old girl was doing real good, until the radiators got packed full of mud. It wound up burning the head gasket & pushing all the antifreeze out early in the race. It almost made it to the end, I had to fill the radiator every three laps. It finally quit when flyin brian was riding it in the end. I tore it apart first thing this morning & found that I had a nickle size hole in the piston. I just got home tonite after tearing it all down. New crank bearings, a .010 piston & gaskets & she will run again. I'm glad the rod is'nt hurt. I still had a great time racin with you guys, it was well worth the trip, even though I had some bad luck. I guess thats what I get for telling Tim Sr that 250-R's don't break down, boy I will keep my mouth shut next time  I still can't believe we got 2nd. Derrick & Brandon rode the wheels of their trikes & deserved to win. But next time I really want that first place trophy :w00t:

Great time guys! Thanks Rick for being my partner in the quad class. You really rode your ace off and i just wish your x wouldnt have let you down. Everyone else, proud of you all for trying your best and finishing. Good win D and B. I think i have to agree with brandon though, might be the last harescramble. Brutal on the machines (especially those 250r's haha).

Craig dude, you're welcome for the loaner. Nice to see it held up for the endurance test. It will be in Penn. for the next craigfest.:beer

Charlie, Thanks for partnering up your trike w/ training wheels with me. And thanks for letting me thrash on her for a while when the X had to cool down. We ran 24 laps in the big bore quad class. That puts us tied for third with the trikes. Not too bad considering we had a handicap. LOL :Bounce Also thanks to mom for the grub.:Bounce I owe you a lunch.

All in all it was a great time and I did'nt wreck this time.:w00t: Next time I'm riding the r so you'll have to bring your own Craig.:naughty:

Next time I'm riding the r so you'll have to bring your own Craig.:naughty:

I just talked to a fella today, his brother-in-law bought a L.C. 250R back in late 80s early 90s and STILL has it . The guy was just over a few days ago and saw it sitting in the corner of the garage. Thinks he will be willing to sell it. Needs a front fender. The story is as follows......riding in the winter....doe jumped off the bank on to the road....fell down right in front of him....coudln't stop,,,,,hit the deer as it was laying there. Didn't crash, but crunched the front fender. The rest of the machine is on real good condition. Now, the condition is being explained by somebody else, so it may or may not be as claimed. Hoping it is. I am gonna see if I can make it out to the guys house this weekend.
That brings me to my next point. Max, sorry but can't arrange any overnight babysitting for the kids. We both can't make it, so I will just hold off and we can get together another time. Hope you guys have a great time and Rachel (sp?) Happy B-Day!!!! Have a shot of Turkey for me. :w00t: Max, make her!!!

Almost forgot...Charlie :w00t: on the :pics:

Hey thats the way it goes sometimes when racing. I can't believe how long it ran while that hot. Should have had the suspension stiffer. It was sweet without all the mud, I bet there was 150 lbs of mud on that thing + another 25lbs on me. That track would be alot more fun if it were dry. It would be a real good race between us & Derrick & brandon next time, Brandon we will drag you to the track next time. I want a re-match.   :w00t:
