since my budget is like 10$ ahahahahaha. im boerd and im going to make a number plate for my 225dx. Lol i will see how it comes out, i found this lid to a plastic container perfect shape and size for my trike. it has grooves in the top so im going to get some plastic filler fill it in till its all filled, sand it all down till it smooth and then paint it white and paint some numbers on it, thats all lol i will get some pic of it finished whenever i get a ride to homedepot.!!!! lol at the bottom is the lid om going to start out with, i know it sounds redneck but when ** on a budget and boerd , i do anything and it might turn out pretty cool.
front and back side pics. lol purple.

Check around for the cheap white plastic ones. I am not aware of large companies that sell them, but at my local MX store that had one (about 9" x 9") for $2.99 so I got it for my R!! hehehe and its running 666 :mad

 If your gonna redneck it get a paperplate, cut it out so it looks like a racing plate and zip tie 'er on with some custom magic maker numbers. Best part is You can make it as big as you want, completely customizable (before you cut)

Hey I used a paper plate once a local MX track many years ago because they decided to require rear plates or you couldn't run, so don't laugh sometimes the redneck thing is the only thing to do. Where would we be without it. Also filler may not stick to you plastic lid so look for a smooth one, or maybe cut off the side of your washing machine, its probably already white and it really doesn't serve a purpose.

lol i think my project backfired on me.....the filler dryed with not visible air bubles, so when i sanded it down it was all holey. its was messed, so i decided to abort that one and just paint another lid :) lmfao......i made a stencil with paper and a ruler and a pen, (7) was pretty easy to make so now im number 77. i havent put it on yet to see how it looks but her it is, lol this sucks it woulda turned out good to , maybe some bondo woulda work better. owell. i wished i had a dremel, i would cut out all the grooves, so it would kinda be vented.

Those are bubbles with show up no matter what. Even if you use Bondo. You could bondo/fill it, and then use filler primer on it, though. Then smooth the filler primer and paint it the color you want, then paint the numbers on it. Just a suggesion though. Thats what I did to my tank when I got it painted.

lol here it is on with 2 wires had no zip ties, it looks kinda funny but ok at the same time if i had a front fender on it wouldent like to bad at all i would think. i also fix my bars abd forks, so now my bike dont look that wierd and ghetto anymore. still need a bigger front wheel. the first pic is when i first got it from this guy, then i fixed the front.
