Hey... I got a 1974-1979 ATC90/ATC110 manual now.... the 1970 US90 Service manual will be here Friday. Oh... I got that pipe today... thanks! It's a much smaller diameter header than the reminence on my US90. :wondering Either way, I'll take it down to the muffler place and see what they can do. I got a 83 110 pipe that's all rusted into like 3 pieces, but I think I'll see if the spark arrestor can slide into that pipe you sent me. Just let me know how to settle up with you on the shipping.

Was reading the link above about the light to set points. The guy said you really have to watch the light because it doesnt go out, only dims. Seem like you could do the same thing with an ohmmeter. Never tried it but seems like same thing only instead of watching dimness of light your reading numbers.

It will be a DRASTIC difference in light, so it isnt that difficult- Basically turning slowly (By hand ) and watching marks. Yes an ohm -meter works just as well.

"when the points open I expected the light to go out but that is not the case. The light merely dims, it does not go completely out."

The battery is feeding through the ignition coil to ground most likely, disconnect the coil and the light should go completely out. If not, somethings wrong.

Exactly right--If you "Unground" the coil, the light shuts down completely. The dimness is caused by "Feedback" thru the coil
