I just put my clutch in(it went together pretty good). It's all back together, but now when I pull the clutch lever when it's in gear it does nothing. It feels like it stays in gear so I haven't tried to start it yet. Any suggestions on what this might be?

what kinda bike?i know all the clutchs i've done feel like crap till you start them up and let the oil get in between the discs.this will make the clutch engage, and disengage easier, well, like it's supposed to.jack the rear end up,fire her up,let her warm up and pull the clutch as few times.then pop it in gear.
report back any good stories, like if it ran you over, ran over your dog,ran into the garage wall, that kinda thing, lol

I would try that except for my bike won't start now. Push starting mostly, because the kickstarter won't pop up by itself anymore. And now that I have the new clutch in it is really stiff and hard to pull back up. Any suggestions on what might be wrong here? It is also really cold outside when i'm trying to start it. I think after wrestling practice tommorow I will try to start it in the middle of the day this time, when it's warmer. It started just fine about 2 months ago. The kickstarter thing is really getting to me though.

Ok...I got it running. Had my friends push start me on the road. It's running pretty good through all the gears. Any suggestions on how long I should break in my clutch, before I start riding real hard? Thanks..alot!
