Has anyone on here ever used copper head gaskets? If so, how have they worked. I've noticed a few coming up on ebay from time to time and was thinking this might be a good way to avoid any head leaks.

Yeah, I used them when racing, they work OK. No, they wont reduce the chance of leaks, theyll make it greater. The copper is harder and less flexible than the stock fiber gasket (except for the steel ring in the stock gasket, it is harder) and cant fill small warps as well. The head and deck must be very flat before using metal gaskets. That head tends to warp around the fiber area where the water passages are.
