A first year US90 or an 81 ATC250R but those are already done and being done respectively. 87 200X might be a good choice. Either that or a Big Red? Not to much activity on them for complete restorations. Might be something new and a little bit different to do.

That being the only 87 sport trike made I say go for it. The keyed ignition is cool as well as the white tank shrouds. I have owned 2 86's and Mike from LI had a 87 and a 86. Looking at the 2 side by side there are a lot more differences than you would expect. Good luck and I am sure it will turn out mint.

If you are talking for display only and no riding I would go with the US90 as well.

It would be awsome to restore a super rare trike, maybe a Husquavarna or something of that nature. You would have something very unique, It would be a very fun and probably frustrating challenge, but in the end it would be worth it.

To me if your only going to display 1 trike it has to be the first one Made the 1970 US90. We just finished one up for a guy in CA to be displayed in his house , this is the only way to go, here is a pic of it getting crated to be shipped

I am partial to the '87 200X, it's a real nice piece and very rideable too. If you are a hardcore Honda man that might be the way to go. Or, you could try to find a Husky or Cagiva, those are ultra-rare and real sweet trikes. Perhaps even a Tiger. I know where a Tiger 200 is that is in very nice shape.

Maybe a 88 BigRed. Extremely hard to find or even get a picture of. But basically Honda's flagship model. Has all the bells and whistles and is the last year model trike made. By any manufacturer anywhere. Kawasaki still made them in 87 but noone except honda made a 88 model.

I am offering an award to anybody who can find me a very nice trike or something to be reestored. My main interest is obviously a 87 88 r or x yea right correct. Now back to reality, PLEASE PLEASE find me a fair price either mint or just ok 87 200x. Does anybody on here have one???? I think that this is the rarest if rare in my book, not worth as much money as a cherry x but all the same. Mike whats it cost for a us90, probably way too much for me, they really do nothing for me, I like big and mean like the x or r for display. Please advise if you know of any or if ya got one, I will make it worth you while for a 87, you need parts, well I got alot let talk PLEASE BOARD HELP ME OUT

hey bruce,
yea thats Him, his name is Gordon He is right I ended up putting a NOS K1 switch and bezel on it for now till we found a NOS K0 bezel and switch. I have to round him up a switch know that he has the bezel, US90 parts are getting very scarce. The blue and parrot green are my favorite US90 colors.

Crap... I was hoping it had a decent K0 bezel on it he'd sell me after beating me for the NOS one. Mine's rusted to crap... rest of the chrome up there's fine on mine... just the switch/throttle cover was messed.

I would go with the 87x. I all ways liked the decals on that one the best. I have one I'm going to redo. I have it sitting wraped in plastic untill we buy our first house. Congarts on you house by the way. My other choice would be one of those little 90 ballon tire machines. I just like the way they look like a little kids toy.

I'd display a 1973 ATC70. Very cool and parts are still available.
