Mississippi River Ride - March 3-5th

We're going to ride on the river in about 5 weeks. Get out on the sandbar (depending on river stage), do some woods riding, camp out, etc. Looking like we may have a pretty nice turnout with a bunch of TN guys and even some FL guys making the trek. Check the link for more info & try to make it!

Man, I would love to make it, sounds great. I'll have to think about it. That sand bar looks great. How big do you think it is at times, several acres?

when the river is low it can be about 5 miles long and up to a mile wide so yeah it gets BIG. When the water is up then there's still tons of trail & woods riding to do.

Just exactly how do you get to this sandbar from memphis..I'm 40 minutes away and didint know it was there...directions from the old or new bridge would be great...Heck I may go tomorrow...?

Basically going south to Jackson MS and go about 30-45mins southwest near Pearl MS. Its about 3.5hrs from memphis area.

Give me a shout man cuz sounds like we might all meet at my house and caravan that way friday evening. There is nothing set in stone yet as we are trying to work out all the details as far as who is coming and driving what haha.
