350x Help Needed

has any ony used the all balls tapered steering stem bearings
ive got a 86 and the lower bearing is discontinued from honda and only 85 kits are availible aftermarket, will the 85 kits work in a 86????? , is the neck in the frame the same size. i do know the steering stems are the same for 85 and 86 thanks larry

They will inner change. I would even venture to say that the 250ES bearings and 250sx Bearings are the same. After all I have seen complete X front ends on SX's.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they are interchangeable too...the stem size is the same for both...I think the '86 tripple tree came with a different bearing style that's all...not sure if it is any better than the '85 setup though.

i used the "all balls" in my 86 rear end carrier.they seem to work as well as the others do..+ you get a cool sticker! actually they were cheaper than the others i looked at too
