I said I would post my findings on this swap and unfortunately it is not a direct match but it is close. The width of the T3 bearings in the carrier is about 6.25 inches whereas the width on the LT250R is about 5.875". The LT250 axle has a shoulder on it by the brake hub that is about .25" that prevents it from lining up reasonably. The shoulder could be removed on a lathe or grinder. But, is an axle thru or surface hardened? If just surface hardened then this modification could be a problem (wear). Hell, just cutting the thing might be a hassle. Anyway here are the pictures of the axles with measurements:

I still think using a 400ex axle is a better idea seeing as they are easier to find and more universal.
