250r forks interchange?

I have a set of 250r forks and triples that i picked up over the summer, and i have no idea what year they are from. I want to buy a 250r, but the front forks are noticably bent (see other thread). Will the forks i have in my garage for this 85 r? I have a set of triples also, so im sure I could make it work. I THINK the model code inprinted on them is ha4, or maybe ha2, but I do know that they have too big of a diameter to fit inside my 350x's triples.

Can anyone help me out here? Will the forks i have in my garage fit on the 1985 r? Now I can only hope that the guy calls me back...

If your extra forks are indeed for a 250R, and they are too big to fit into your 350X triple clamps, then those forks are for an 85-86 250R. The old process of elimination at work!

thats what i assumed and i know for sure they are from an r, and that they are too big to fit into the 350x triples...so they must be.
