whats this 86 250r worth?

well this is only about 2 hours from me and i really really want an r, preferrably an 85 or 86. So what do you all think this is worth? would it be worth trading my 82 xr500 dirtbike for if the guy would trade? does anyone have the parts i need if i do happen to get it?

i do have access to rear tires and rims, i also can get a thumb throttle (wouldnt be oem). how much would a rear bearing carrier be and how much for the electrical?

Rear carriers have been averaging $75 on ebay. I just bought a mint 85 wiring harness for $39 shipped. I was also watching this bike, its about 2 hours from me to but I won't be bidding on it if you want to go after it. Make sure you get a rear caliper with it, those are getting pricey. Also ask about the motor. You can see parts in the background so there should be alot to that bike. Value? the winner will determine that one. I bet it gets up towards 300 to 450 range. Ask for more detailed pics of the frame and parts that come with it.

well he emailed me back and here is what he said.

The cylinders in the pic dont come with it. There is no motor or carb, rear wheels or axile carrier. The seat has a few small tears. The fenders are very poor. Theres nothing bent or broken.

that being said, it's pretty useless to me so i wont be bidding on it.

that all the thing is worth. i bought my 86 complete rolling chassi for 650 and that included a new fmf pipe.

i am thinking of bidding on it.its about 45 minutes from me.i asked hem the reserve its 200.00
