ok so anybody know what this is used for it looks like you would bolt up some aftermarket carb or something anyone know?

Looks like a 250R intake, I have one it isn't a DG, but it is very close. If you have ever worked on snowmobiles, they have a rubber flange for the carburator, which is what I put on mine. I dug around till I found one the right size, that would bolt right up.

i have a 250r but it didnt have this type of intake i guess mine was
the stock intake. i have a rad valve now but was this some type of old school upgrade or just a stock relacement piece made by DG....

That is an adaptor that appears to fit the 250R. It goes from a normal spigot type carb that is found stock on the 250R, and 350X and makes it a flange (Bolt up) mounting system. Interesting.

yeah the bolt up flange is what made me think 200x.i thought they were shaped similar to a 250r.oopps

i thought it was a bit unusual i wonder what carb went with this intake. i have the reed cage that it was attached to also but it appears to be a stock one thats been ported a bit and has what i belive are dual stage reeds.

hmmm looks like it would bolt up to my YZ motor....Can you mesure across the bolt holes so i can see if it dose?

sorry but i cant find my tape measure Duh.....but if your reed cage matches one from a 250r rhis will work. let me know if you want it.
