No one take any of this seriously, its just for fun. Riders talking a little bit of smack at each other is always entertaining as long as no one takes it to heart.
With that being said, I'm gonna find a modern YZ motor for my Z between now and June and own everyone in the expert class! :D

A lot of guys run out and buy new equipment to compensate for lack of riding ability! The lengths you guys have to go to just to take out a little old fat guy on a stock Z......
Flyin' Brian's R is stock too.

Im bringing the 110 and strapin a keg on the back. I bet I still keep on Tims rear hahaha. (since the R is gone)
Oh I hope Bill does make it. There are gonna be some awesome custom trikes out there and some serious competition.

Maybe the title of the ATTV show will be "Tired Fat Guys Racing Fat Tired Trikes" :Bounce
I may steer clear of the races this year. I'd hate to be riding in the back of the pack and run someone over again.:(
Anyway it goes down, I'm sure it will be fun.

I will be on the MX track with the 310 & the drag pipe so don't try to pass me on the left side or you will poke your eye out. Just kidding guys I do want to run the mx class this year but need to get practiced up :beer. This year should be alot of fun I can't wait.

I still think I'm gonna piece together a 200x between now and then and race in the 350X class. I'm tired of all the 350X guys talking *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* about 200x's. They are pretty good trikes.

The 86's and 87's are good trikes, they just dont have enough power in my opinion. In just a straight line they will get up and go pretty good but i think for the MX's a 350x would kill a 200x as long as the riders know how to ride.

Well this year ill have my secret weapon on me if all goes to plan. With a PROPER rear shock this time among other things. Im hoping this year to umm how can I say this, own the am. 2 stroke class?
Last year I had my Z, with a POS rear shock with 0 travel lol. I still remember showing billy and scott that, they were surprised!
let the racing begin!:w00t:
And P.S, whats with all these "old" people not racing! I want some competition! Man do I sound cocky!

What class do I have to run in? Old Fat Senior Class? Aftera ll, I am pushin 40 guys!!!! Better yet, I should get to race in the Amateur 2Stroke Class. This is my first TF MX race, so I am truely an amateur.
BTW, I am really sorry for bringin up Bill in this post. I didn't realize the extent of his ill will towards you guys. I figured what is a post about Trike MX Racing, Ribbing, poking fun, WITHOUT MrATC.
Little Brother, YOU WILL RACE this year...you female anatomy. Can't believe you are getting cold riding boots. Oh ya, the OTHER old fat guys who are bailing....quit whinin and line em up...this IS for FUN after all. :w00t: We want a good showing, just run a half lap as hard as you possibly can, impress everyone for about 3 minutes then start looking down at your engine or wheels or something like that....then pull off the track, making it look like you had to DNF due to mechanical issues! That is MY PLAN!!!!! :naughty:

Oh, but you only seen ONE of my P3's. You also should know I have more parts and the know how to change a lot of things around on one of my others. All I can say is you better have a windshield on the sx, because you know the P3 will be spitting what ever is on the track at you.

I was planning on getting there early monday but i wasnt going to tell anyone.;) I want to get up by the house/building and reserve it for howdy if he wants, or/and john if he is going to be the chef again this year. i just want to be up in that general area where john was last year. We were down behind the building by the basement and it was kinda loud one night. I dont remember who it was with the tricked out tri-z i think it was but it had lots of sparks and noise! It was kind of hard to sleep.

who ever said i'm not doing anything to one of the sx's? lol. Well if you put a different clutch on one of the P3's then maybe you'll have a chance, but dont get to confident in yourself. I've been waiting on TF06 every since i left TF05 so i'm going to make sure i have lots of fun.:naughty: I guess i might need to take it easy on you though since your getting to be so old. Nahhhhh! You better get there Early, you need all the practic you can get. lol I am not sure where I am camping this year. I will be going to Haspin a month or 2 before TF to do some scouting, get the Poker Run Trail mapped out, and other things. I will probably post up a posting to see who all wants to go for the Pre-TF trip.

Wow! That would definatley give a guy a humongous unfair advantage in Mini/Unsupended class. Im guessing thats a CR80 powered 200X chassis? They had problems with guys wanting to run CR80 quads in CRA mini classes and finally made a rule that minis had to be autoclutch or auto. He'd probably fit the 200X class pretty well with it.

200xcellent
02-08-2006, 10:18 PM
Jordan from the tf05 mx post
andrew better watch out next year my 200x will be tip top and so will my new r i think brandon might end up a few seconds behind me by the way brandon get ahold of me about the car and i was also wondering if you still have the twist throttle i dont like thumbs any more i have broken my total about 8 times so the thumb throttle hurts after a bit. ohh and the r is going to have a few tricks to it and it wont be bored but the power will be un real. ask brandon what his cr is like and that will telll you i know my 2 smokes. plus i get grea discount on parts so tf 06 mxs will be mine. in mid size suspended and 250r advanced
alright xhilaration fyi that day i was at the track all day with my cr by the time the trike race started my arms where shot. and another thing is that i just got the 200x running the day before i did a motor swap and i didnt get the chance to tune it the way i wanted it. also my suspension well it was like a pogo stick. fork seals shot and rear shock blown not to metion i had my bars slip on me. but by the time trike fest roles aroiund next year i will own you will see. the tracks i ride are the same size as national mx tracks. wild wilderness may be bigger now. they have a 125 foot quad and then a 100 foot table a 90 foot up hill tripple and a huge 80 foot double right out of a turn. my rider ability is improving every time i ride and i will finish top. i have a few tricks up my sleeve for next year along with alot of upgrades i have money to burn and i will win
hey andrew just wait till next year actually myx wont be a x next year. it will be a totally different bread of a trike. i will race it with the big four stroke class if i get a certain motor for it hell i might run it in the 2 smoke class as well even though it will be a four stroke. i have thought about this one for a while now and it wil be sweet when i get it done. man i wont be able to ride my trikes untill the mx's they will be in an inclosed trailer locked away untill the drags. like i said i have a a few tricks up my sleeve and man the x will be able to out run a r just you wait and see. the smack talk is going to stop now and the proof will come at trike fest next year remember the tracks near my house are huge and made pretty much for bikes but i have been doing pretty good on them even though the jumps are huge here is a link to check it out http://www.wildwildernessraceway.com/ and look at the pictures in one of them is the 125 foot quad that i am easily doubling soon to be trippling on the r
After posts like these do you wonder why no one takes you seriously?
Jason Hall
02-08-2006, 10:50 PM
Thats kinda what I thought you would say . Well the boy will have to get practicing, that will be a tuff croud. Our boys mighy have some more fun racing each other again this year. It is a 85-R frame. I wonder how it would fair against a 200x? My buddy has a 87 200x I will try to run them together & see how she does.
jmack3986
02-08-2006, 11:17 PM
an 80 is a little small motor it wont do that well but i guess it would depend on rider weight. i gots a surprize for the 200x class as soon as i can get a roller. i cant wait this will be a fun bike.
jmack3986
02-08-2006, 11:20 PM
yeah tim i am running in expert class with derrick brandon brian and you. I hope i can improve on my riding by the time trike fest come. I know i didnt do good at the harescramble but that was the first time since jully i rode the trike i have maybe only rode it about 7 times. so i am stilll new to it but i am going to give it my all at trike fest

well it looks as if i wont be able to do conversion. i figured out pricing and it is goiing to run about 2g's to get things precise. that is everything from axle to carrier and tripples to swinger and sub frame build. but i am going to fix the r and get the suspension modern which is going to be a better deal for me. my friend is getting a 1000cc drag trike out of docs junk yard. i think he is at least. that thing is sweet. it is a 80's model bike. not sure on make but it use to run back in the day so that will be sweet to have there.

I found an extra sweet deal on a 350X last night that I couldn't pass up. Old school! Some sort of bigbore kit, westcoast swinger, Durablue axle, the works! Even has some sort of special Hondaline fork upgrade! Apperently the frame has been gusseted and it just needs some cleaning and a good rear shock. Only an hour away from me and CHEAP. Saw pics but haven't seen it in person yet. Going to look at it tommorrow.

I enjoy the bar to bar action of the racing. Even though I know I have to run in the Advanced class, I would much rather run in the Novice class just to run with other people. That's why I want to run the 350X class too.
TimSr
03-02-2006, 09:17 PM
Last year the advanced two stroke evolved from a two stroke class so large it needed to be split. We had 4 stroke open, 2 stroke open, and 2 stroke advanced. We didnt set out to have an advanced class,. We had to split the two stroke, and I felt that was the best way to do it. This year we are are having a new "expert class" in place of 2 stroke advanced. This is an open class, which means two stroke and 4 stroke in it. (that means you too, Virgil!) Running in both the expert class and a novice class wouldnt be fair to the actual novice riders, but I dont want to deny somebody the opportunity to run different machines so Im trying to figure the best way to handle it. Also, I think some of the expert class riders scare the heck out of some of the novice riders, and might discourage participation. I dont know how many people this would affect that have two different race class machines, but its probably not many.
I thought of possibly having a non-awards consolation race at the end, where anybody could run anything as one option. The other thing I thought of was allowing expert class riders to run in slower classes, but not be eligible for awards, but then if there are a bunch of them, Id be concerned about it discouraging the novice riders from running. Im open to other ideas, but I dont think running both an expert and a novice class is a good idea, and kind of defeats the purpose.
Derrick, you sandbagger!!!! What are you worried about? I may have clobbered you last year at TF, but I think youve beaten me at every race since then!!! Youll have no problem running expert class, even if it is you and me fighting over last place! Now get that skirt off, and put some riding pants on!!!

Brandon has got some crazy notion that he's going to smoke me in a 350X class. As long as we have some different faces in the expert class, i'm cool with that. I guess I just would rather race different people than just the Ohio crowd (which unfortunately makes up the majority of the expert class) I guess roosting on Billy would be kind of fun, but he'll be so far back it'll just be me and Tim rubbing tires again.

Yeah he is. Tough too, he still lifts weights every other day and rides every now and then (the kicker on his x is still broke so he has to push start it with a bum knee). Alrighty then...I can officially talk some REAL smack now, I actually own my own trike as of today. I intend to run 2-stroke novice class and NOT come in last place. Outside that goal, anything goes.
Kintore: One year in novice automatically qualifies you for expert/advanced, so no need to worry about you.
Billy: Man owns his own track = no excuses for anything less than expert/advanced class.
ScottZJ: No longer owns a performance 2-stroke, so no worries.
Did I leave anybody out?
Wait...if I weed everyone out or advance them to expert, leaving only myself in novice, does that automatically give me first AND last place? I'm so confused...:wondering

I'm draggin my *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* back out to Galion next weekend for season opener. I'm going to run one of the trikes. I'm still a little intimidated by some of the new jumps but i'm sure once the gate drops that will all fade away.
Ditto that D!!
jumps are nothing - it's the turns and acceleration that wins races!

yeah but you cant pin it too hard or you will end up like bryan raffa did,huh bry!!!!!;)
the track is alot bigger now.they took out the tripple after the double, double, tabletop, and replaced it with a 30 foot double.then the back straight takes a hard right, then a hard left back towards the pond.then another sweeping right, then a left into a double, double(little ones),then it turns right up the hill, and sweeps around a tree to the right, and back down the hill.slight left, slight right into 2 little down hill doubles.left into the whoops, and the rest is the same

YEP! funny thing is that i hit that jump 100 times, all it takes is to have that brain fart one time, and thats what happens. The track sounds awsome. practice practice practice....from here on out every weekend!!!!cant wait to get there early to spend a whole day on the track.

Well everyone I must bow out of the races this year. In fact just getting to Tf will be a chore in itself. The reason for this is I have screwed up my knee, I am not even 100% sure how I did it. Over the past few weeks I have been under going multiple test to see what the problem is. The last test was a MRI, and it shows a tear in the medial meniscus, and there is also a possibility I have a small tear in the ACL. I went to the doctor yesterday and he scheduled me for surgery on June 1st. Putting it off until after Haspin is NOT a option. It really bites!! I don't know if I will be able handle the 2 hour trip to Haspin, let alone loading and or unloading anything. I haven't gave up all hope yet. In fact I am still trying to get machines together just incase I can make it. But everything is on a day to day basis. One thing I do know is the doctor told me no riding ATV's. Though I have ask him about the 1/2 car and my Golf Cart. He told me this: Lets get through surgery and see how bad it is first. So if by chance I am able to make it to Haspin, I will pretty much be limited to the Camp ground area.
Kintore, Please contact me before you leave for Haspin. Since your going to be traveling near here, I may have you haul some goodies to Haspin. More details to come as soon as I see what's going to happen with me.
Thanks
Howdy

Ok, so I talked to Howdy since his surgery and he asked me to update everyone. Prepare for bad news.
Yep, while they were in there they had to do the ACL. Looks likes he may be layed up for quite a while. Howdy's words were I give it a 15% chance I'll be at TF.

I am signing on tonight in a drastic amount of pain. My knee is continually hurting worse. They did have to repair the ACL and the Doctor originally told me no long trips for 2 weeks if the ACL gets repaired. This is what I feared the most. My current schedule is to have rehab on Monday with another day later in the week. So as it stands now you guys will have to have fun without me. I guess I will probably be the one called this year. It will suck to miss TF, but my health must come first.
