Anyone from MA/CT/NY? want to help me out with a ride to TF?

Hey everyone,

I'd love more than anything to go to trikefest this year, but I'm only 18... no car and nobody is willing to bring me there. I'm in Middletown, CT... maybe someone close enough in New England would be willing to pick me and my trike up? (its an '85 SX)... I would surely help with gas and transportation costs as much as I could, and help with whatever else you may need.... maybe a trike that needs some fixing.. or possibly you could use some ATC110 or 250SX parts that I have. I would appreciate it more than anything, and youd be making a kids dream come true at the same time, lol. If ANYONE would be willing to do this, give me a shout... like I said I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks,

oh and may I add that if you can do it... I will tell you where I saw three '86 tecates for 550 OBO... one in great condition with a blown motor (cosmetically great.. good plastics etc), and the other two are parts bikes... I was gonna buy em for myself but the money situation is kinda bleak with this minimum wage job, lol... Thanks again,

im really anxious to get to tf too but it looks like it may not happen i have no car and need a truck. do you have a license, cause maybe i can find a car . i know i definately cant find a truck so thats out, im 19 from new england so , we'll see i hope that if i find a way you can too

I finally take my license test March 30th, if I pass it then yea I'll have my license by the time TF comes. But I doubt I'll have a vehicle by then, and we need atleast a truck to haul the trike with.

hey jchx99,do you mean the 3 i just picked up last night that are now in my garage?got them for $500.only 1 86,the other 1 1/2 were 84 and 85.you gotta be quicker than that if your gonna get an 86 tecate.

Ahhhh man are you serious... I don't have the $$ so I couldn't, '86 tecates always been my dream too... I had applied for a loan, I guess i can forget about that now, LOL... damn man thats crazy... did you take a look at the blown motor yet? any :pics: ?? lol... if youre so close and goin to TF maybe you can help with a ride? i can take some pics tomorrow.i also got a white low profile rear fender for the 84-85 tecate with it in great condition,no cracks.not painted white either.im not going to trikefest,yes the cagiva is going to dale from me and no im not in new haven,im in stafford springs.i didnt look at the motor yet,i was told it had a 290 top-end in it.crank is bad i was told and so is the cylinder.when i get around to it,i may just go with a 300 kit if i can find one and put my cal-fab on it.it has maier front and rear fenders and clean factory oem shrouds on it.this make (8) 86 tecate's now.for all i know,this could be an '87,i never did check the vin.
