cr500 motor

ok i found a 1986 cr500 motor with the carb and all electrical.he says it runs good is it worth 650.00.any help would be great

It all depends on what you think. Does it look like everything is there, then go for it. But be careful because you dont know what he did to take the motor out of the bike.

that is a close call. i would try and find a 89 or newer

$650 seems ok if it's pretty nice?? but you can still get all the 86 engine parts...

Alot of times you can find the whole bike for that price.

ok i guess i am going to keep looking i seen an 86 motor on ebay that has a new topend for 400.00. with no bids

that dosnt seem like that good of a deal to me...I would try to find a newer year engine...
