I have a 350X motor that I bought from a college. It was brand new other than it might have been taken apart and put back together. It runs good but it is extremly hard of find neutral and when I do sometimes it will pop back in after I get it started. You all know how hard it is to start a 350X when it's in gear. Any help would be grateful.

Well on one of my 350x's While its running its nearly impossible to get into neutral. But if its not running its no problem. I doubt its a bent shifting fork. Probably just somthing wasnt put back together perfectly, a washer or somthing in the rong place, so the rong part got shimmed out. Somthing along those lines. Things like that are extremely hard to find. Even most shops have trouble finding shifting problems like that.

i say if its not causing a problem in all the forward gears... and you can shift smooth... then dont worry about it...
