yea there are a couple people have them on the boards here. they're pretty rare that's for sure.
Howdy posted a cool polaris commercial from back in the day a few months ago. I can't seem to find it though. definitly worth the wait to download that one.

Just wait until TF06 or shortly there after. If all goes correct we will have a picture with 6-8 of them lined up side by side. I only own 4 of them, 3 of which will be fixed up. ;)

Holey smokes!!!! I had no idea you had so many of them. Are they all runners? I remember you saying you found a bunch of nos parts. any updates or pics of what you got?
BTW I always wanted to ask... how many 350x's do you currently own?

You wouldn't be able to sleep knowing how many I own. But I will say the number is higher than the P3's. lol Looking at getting a 250x tomorrow that has a 350x motor in it.
I only have 1 P3 that is actually running right now. But I hope to get the other 3 motors up and running real soon. Then the one will be pulled and sealed for safe long term storage.

I remember reading about those things when they frist came out. Me and one of my mates thought they were the best.
The magazines at the time knocked the P3 a bit because the trike sat too high in the rear and the front suspension was too mushy, exaserbating the problem.
I always wanted one so I could fix the handling error that the factory apparently made.
So howdy, how does the P3 handle? Too high in the back an too low in the front? Hard to slide due to the transmission?

I'm pretty sure they only came out in a dark blue, and the scrambler wasn't on the market long...... I've got a Magizine test on the trike and when they were new the dark blue looked great, But all the ones Ive seen on this site have not really aged well as far a colour goes.
Anyone ridden one

The front rim is a 8" and the rears are 10" with 22" tires all around. John, is that the factory guard on the exhuast pipe? Mine has a steel cage type guard.

Todd, John's has the same guard as I do and I know from the manuals and parts booklets ours are stock. I was missing one and wondered why you didn't "Try" to snipe on the one ( Sole's) on Ebay. You probably wouldn't have won it though ( I had a pretty big proxy ). lol
I would love to see some close up pictures of your steel cage one.

Don't forget mine. I have pictures on the site someplace. I love mine, and am looking for another.
I found the link. http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=26976&

I wonder if mine is an early or late production because the guards are definitely factory. I'll get some close up shots after I am done plowing everyone out from this blizzard. With the wind you can see grass on my front lawn but I have +2' drifts in the driveway.

The P3's ride like no other machine. To me they are the Cadilac ( sp? ) of 3 wheelers. They are not the fastest, and they aren't made for jumping and such, but as far as a great trail riding machine they are GREAT!!

200xman , My 85 had the steel cage and my 86 has a full guard , the 85 muffler has mounting hole for the steel cage as the 86 does not . my guess is your machine is a 1985 . hope this helps . Sparrow
