i got ambitious tonight since it was like 60 and any snow that we did have is now gone. my snowmobile season looks to be non existant. so i got out the wheeler and started powdercoating small parts. here are some pics of my carb after i did it. came out awesome!!!! let me know what you think.

only a man named tyler from the state of new york would try something such as this:lol: looks great, i heard if you painted it black the air charge would be cooler thus more power:wondering , have you put a better powerband in that thang yet?? nathan:lol:

no new powerband, still shopping for one! I was able to salvage the powervalve for the rest of the season last year. For the upcoming season im goona just get a new one. Im also looking for a 6 speed bottom end, you got any leads on one of them jobbies there nathan??? Im done with college now, im back in my home state. New Hampshire where we live free or die. Im not real sure about the whole painting it black to cool the charge, kinda makes sense.

actually doesnt black absorb heat, and white repel it? o yeah tyler dude.... where the FV<K is our 929 motor!!!!!!!!!!

first weekend i have off i will make the trek. i was planning on jan 28th or that weekend, but i just couldnt swing it. if need be ill do a one day deal and leave early in the am and leave in the night. sorry its taking so long

I was skeptical until I looked in the thread and saw the pic. Looks like a real nice job! A special touch that will set your wheeler apart from the others.
