How's it going guys, haven't been around lately. (My Quadzilla has been eating up my time.) I came across a 350X engine. Seems like an okay deal. I had a 350x once upon a time. I just want to make sure this isn't out of an XR or XL. Can you guys verify? Thanks.

Looks 350X to me too... the clutch covers looked different on the XL350 if I recall.... To be 100% sure, make sure the kick starter kicks "forward" and check the engine ID Should be TE08E-500000+

yup, 350x for sure. Now all you need is a chassis to go with it and your set! I guess a 'zilla is the next best thing to a trike. What year's yours, what are ya doin to it? Resto, build-up, or just spend all yer time runnin' it? Here's a shot of mine...

I redid the whole bike a few years ago. I was going to freshen up the engine but bought an already built engine off Planetsand. Should be a BIG difference. Made 73hp on alky but I am detuning a little and run gas. It's a duner only, so it doesn't have to be trailable but it should run. My pics are too big, need to resize. If you really want to make your zilla honk and be reliable, go to planetsand.com and look for Dr Q. He is the zilla god. From what I understand he was a Suzuki engineer back in the 80s and helped develop it.
