Riding was awsome this year. We did get to race a lot. We even had my truck out on the ice. I haven't driven on the lake since the late 80's. And once again, I proved to a bunch of Banshee owners that the 'Ol 250R is not something to scrap with.

Basically the same here. Yeah, we should try and set up some rides this Spring, maybe a day at Lembo Lake. I plan on doing some flat tracks again this year so I'll be up there anyway and I'll bring an extra ride along for the trails.

They definitely had some ice races, a bunch of guys I know ran their ice bikes up there but I didn't make it. I couldn't keep that TRX together this year, the SOB blew up 3 times in the last six months, I really think it hates me. Not to mention my wife just had a baby around Christmas so I was lucky to get a few weekends on the Greenwood Lake.

Yeah it came apart the first time but that was expected as the motor was real tired. The second time my buddy worked his way up (flattracking at lembo) from 14th starting position up to fourth and he was running the open clas with a 250!! Then with four laps to go someting hit the plug on the side of the cylinder that I used to run my fuel pump off of which caused it to lean way out and seize up. Finally we were just cruising it on the lake this winter and it siezed up again, I think, I haven't had time to tear her down. It definitely had too much compression, even for race gas. It was at the point that you had to put on MX boots to kick it because even workboots would hurt your feet after a kick or two. It had alot of bottom end but no over rev, it proboably had around 250lbs of compression, way way way too much. When I rebuild it I am going to mellow the compression out some and that should solve it.
