have you used paint stripper?

Hay guys long time no chat lol.... so yeah today i was bored and started cleaning my ytm200ek up. i took of the metal plate that covers the exhaust pipe so *Edited* dont burn your leg. Mine was about 4 different colors red blue silver and black. lol so i stripped it and it turned chrome in 10 minutes lol it looks excellent. Has anybody used this so called "techniquie" i started messing with. has anybody ever done this before?? respond back ill get some pics tomarrow. I plan to redo my exhasust and front "H" and make it all chrome in 30 minutes!! its up to my monster garage team lol just messin well pce. -Joe:w00t:

You sure you didnt strip it down to bare steel? If you did, you can expect it to rust in less than a day :lol:

If teh chrome / steel were that hot, the metal is damaged. Be good to find out why the exhaust was overheating to cause all those funky colors.

actually yeah i think its down to bare metal but looks prurdy good lol... i soaked the piece in a rust solvent or rust protection liquid. took it out this morning looks like a stripper lol... teamgeek. lol except this 1 was a really cheap and easy stripper. lol well guys i give yeah a pic later on today when i return from fun ol school lol............... -Joe
