Need to hear some opinions on "Mini High" bend 1 1/8th bars. What are they like as far as being used on a trike? Would I be able to mount my Moose "bark busters" with them or would the 1 1/8 section keep me from using them?

I can't say anything about how that bend will be since I have never used that one. I will say that you are going to have to get the 1 1/8 adapters for the tripple trees. Also you will have to get the big bar kit for your bark busters to mount to the 1 1/8" bars. I had to buy soe when I put a set on my bike last year.

if the entire bar is 1 1/8", all of you controls will not fit. they are designed for a 7/8" bar. I cant honestly see the added bonus of a bigger bar. strength maybe, but if I'm that high up in the air i want the bars to bend when I land so they take a portion of the landing shock.

I bought a moose big bar adapter and used pro taper universal bars witch compansate for the 3/4 inch rise in the adapter, they feel awsome! and i had no problem mounting any controlls,or hand guards!

Only the clamping section of the handlebars is 1 1/8" diameter, then they gradually taper down to 7/8" at the ends. That way you're still able to use all of your original controls. Since bulge bars don't need a crossbar (they gain their strength through the thicker sidewall portion of the bars), they actually flex & absorb shocks better than handlebars w/crossbars.

The mini high bend bars are about 3" narrower PER SIDE than a CR bend. I wouldn't use them because the loss of leverage. I use both Pro-Taper 1 1/8" with KX mounts with the anti-vibe bushings on some of my bikes and Renthal 7/8" bars. I like the CR bend. I did see Pro-Taper fat bars with a Raptor bend.

The Raptor bend is higher than CR bend, 5" vs. 3", but they also are sweeped back almost 4".

I'd use the Raptor bend before using a mini high bar.
