Questions about Trikefest 06.

Are you allowed to sell stuff there. Can I bring a trailer full of parts fenders oils maybe a trike or two. If you are allowed how does everybody feel about me doing this. Good idea or bad.

Owner of Haspin Acres. I know theres one guy thats already there selling oil, chains and sprockets, clutch and brake levers, ect. I talked to him last year and he said they do it everyweekend, so they probably have a special setup with them.

Pete is the guy that runs Haspin acres. Him and his wife Flo is normally the ones collecting the money at the gate. VERY nice people. ;)

Well I need to know from you guy as I have never been there, what would be prime to bring. What would you guys wanna buy, what would you need. How much of what type of stuff would you bring. Imput is very important here thanks.

rims/tires, spark plugs, cables, pedals, wheel studs, handlebars, break levers, the kind of stuff that breaks and not everybody will have with them.

Bring as much as you can. I'm sure alot will sell. I'm gonna be sellin all kinds of tools from motion pro. But no parts.

Anything that wears out or breaks during a spill, bring it. I just want to add make sure you speak with someone at Haspin (preferebly Pete) and tell them what you have in mind and see what they say.

I think it's a good idea. People might ride a little harder if they know they can get fixed up.

They may have soem kind of agreement with that other guy with the parts trailer, so I agree that it would be best to check. I doubt they would have a problem if you brough trike specific parts, but they might have a problem with your selling generla purpose parts that might cause a confilt with the other guys. They may have no agreement at all, and just those other guys setup.

I do remember having a conversation with Pete last year. I think Mik6 was there as well ( it was some that needed parts ). Pete was asking hows the guys prices and such were. He plainly told us that if the guy is gouging on prices he is gone. It was either mik6, freakfix, or one of the other members. I know I told Pete that I had a few misc parts if anyone needed them.

Rangerover, contact Pete and explain what your plans are. I don't think he would have a problem with it, but you want to be sure before dragging a whole load down there. ;)

I'm only selling tools to 3wheelerworld members. Especially since I'm going to be giving good discounts.

Pete is great. If you think he is nice on the phone, you should talk to him in person. There aren't very many people as nice as he is. One thing I do know is you do not want to make him mad. I have seen his dark side once. Thankfully, it wasn't towards me. But I was able to help him catch the idiots.

The reason he knows me so well is this: Everytime I show up I have a load of friends coming with me. He keeps telling me to come every week. lol

Well I am not bringing everything like that so no worries. Maybe all of us who are bringing things should park together and possibly set up some type of tent etc. My girl will be running it for me throughout the day.

sounds like trikefest will be a swap meet as well, wish i could make it there this year but its just not going to happen:cry: im already setting things in motion to insure i make it for trikefest '07
