Punctured My Tire within 1st hr

I put a hole in the side wall somehow, so I call Suzuki and they tell me it will cost $200 for the Tire.I freaked out on them. They said they couldnt take one off of a King Quad in a Crate and that I will have to wait about a week. Im so pissed. I spend $7500 and ride it for one hour and get a flat. Then they tell me the Tire is $200 and if I needed the Rim thats $400 WTF kind of crap is this. For $600 I can get ITP C-Series Rims and Holeshot XTR tires all around.
Im really Pissed off and of course Its Sport Mann Suzuki Honda. They are the Worst Dealer ever. Even their salesman told me to take my Trikes to K&H Kawasaki to get my Brakes redone after the Mechanic told me he cant fix the Rear Master Cylinder for my 86 200X. I told the mechanic that all I ever hear from them is "I Cant" and I made a Big scene. He told me I would have to buy a new Master Cylinder for the X and I laughed in his Face and told him he doesnt know anything about 3 Wheelers.

Called Wheel Away and got the Tire for $75 Bucks Im on my way.

I had a very similar problem too. VERY long story, but the same thing happened on my 400EX (the only problem I've had out of it). Had the quad new for less than an hour and got a 1" gash in a sidewall iin the left rear while riding in a place that 6 of us had ridden for 2 years without any problems. Called the dealer and complained, "We don't warranty tires, you punctured it!". Ordered a tire and waited 5 days with the quad brand new just sitting there screaming for me to ride it. Got the tire in and on, went riding and the right rear puntured in the same place on the tire!!! 2 tires in the 2 first rides on my 400EX. I called and raised hell, cause it was definatly a defective set of tires, they punctured in the same place on the tire. I drove down there (2 hours) and raised more hell and they pulled a wheel and tire off a new and traded me out (I paid for the tire of course). That was almost 4 years ago and the same tires are still on my EX, so it was for sure a defect. Sorry to rant, but your story got me fired up again!!!! LOL.

Sounds like your dealer is Crap, i worked at a Zuke Dealership all summer, We stocked Many Stock take off tires for 20$ a tire.......Most guy's here opt for a Betttr mud tire right out of the box like a mudlite......And the service at your dealership sucks too, we would work on anything and everything that came into our shop without a problem, Dealership i worked at also Won the Customer Satisfaction 4 years running.......Go's to show....

Well I was at the track again and decided I had to Rip up the area good for other riders to see the Trails this summer. I was comin in pretty hot and I figured I would slam on my Rear Brakes and the Punch it before and into the turn. All I know is I hit the Rear brakes and she justy got mad sideways. I think I could of saved it with body english and all that but as it was only my 5th ride on it I guess I got sketched out about the Weight and Heighth and ended up Bailing pretty hard to get away from her.
I righted her and gave a good lookover and not a thing wrong with her. Thank god it was soft and mudddy out I guess. Gonna have to be carefull when it dries up this summer.

i remeber a friend bought a brand new Z400 when it first came out. he drop another few hundred on gear. anyways he was riding it for about two weeks and the rear shock blew right out. he wasnt a big racer or jumper. it just went out on regular riding. he went back and they told him he would have to wait 1-2 months before they would be able to get a new shock. i saw his brother one day. he was telling me this. he was hot about it,and got me going. so i told him drive back to the dealer with the quad in the back. tell the owner or who ever is in charge. you want them to pull a brand new shock off a bike on the showroom floor. or return the money you just paid for the brand new bike!!. i said explain you just dropped almost $7000 on a bike and gear and now have to wait!!! make them wait for a replacement shock for their own bikes they sell. well i dont really know how it told them this but he got them to take the shock off a bike there and was back riding a few days later. they think once you buy the bike it is your problem if something goes wrong.!!!!!! i say BS to that. yes if you cuase the break down thats your own damnn fault. but at least they could help you out with fixing it. i mean do they want more of your buisness or do they just screw everyone. sooner or later people will talk nd no one wil shop there anymore!!! givem hellll i say!!!

It could be worse. I blew the motor on my P700 on the 2nd ride/ 2nd day!!! At 65 miles.... the rear cylinder had no rocker retainer bolts and the shaft worked its way out, droped a valve. I made the dealer come to the trail head and pick it up!!! They wanted to throw 4 bolts in and give it back... NO F'n WAY, pull the motor and prove the bolts are not in the botom end and I will take it back. I told him it was going to Indiana (for TF04) in 2 weeks, if I blew it up there they would have to pick it up again, I was not bringing it back!! I picked up a NEW P700 the next day w/ all my parts on it. The dealer was trying to see what I would let him get away w/.

Wow sounds like you Guys Have the *Edited**Edited**Edited**Edited* end of the stick down there for dealers!!! Tryin to pull that crap over on you, At the shop i worked at, If Somethin on a brand new Quad went out (like a shocK) it would be pulled off a brand new one and put on that very day, Heck, even for people ordering parts, A guy came in needing a starter Solonoid for his KTM....didnt have one in stock so we pulled it right of the bike on the show room floor..........Its kinda amazing that you guy;s have had such bad luck....:eek:

I HAD bought a 93 trx 350 and whit in the first hour the gas pump the front bering and stering stem all broke I brought it back to the deler and they said "well you bought it use so there no warrantie on the bike" :crazy: and he said it like he never wanted our buissness so next week I whent to pick it up and it cost me over 1000 :mad: dollars so I bring it back to my house and check it over and sa there was no oil in it. I putt oil and sold it whitin the first month. thank god I dint blow the engine.
