I polished out my rear wheels, but the front has that clear anodized coating on it. Id love to polish it but I cant get it off!!! I searched here but found nothing that really tells me how, anyone?

Well I have a little R/C nitro truck that I crashed once. A buddy gave me a ton of new aluminum for it, but his parts were anodized blue, and my parts were purple. I used "easy off oven cleaner" Pulled it right off with an old tooth brush, and elbow grease. Here was the catch... it turned the aluminum black too! I found that if it turns black, soak it in some fresh oven cleaner, and it will take off the black. But, since your gonna be polishing, that might take the black out too. Just watch it, sometimes it wont turn black, but it not a for sure thing. Hope this helps bud! :D

yeah well it takes a little while for the over cleaner to eat away the anodized paint. be sure to scrub it now and then to see if removing it fast enough. leave it too long it WILL turn it black. lol. It will bubble the paint off. Your wlecome bud! :)
