Hey Everybody,

I have a 1983 Honda ATC200E Big Red that i purchased about 6.5 years ago and it came with a Kimpex Front End Conversion Kit. I am wondering if anybody has any information on these kits because it looks really cool and I have searched for almost 6 years for any information on these kits and turned up empty The Kit has a one piece fender tubular frame with 4 bolt rims my tire size on the front is 20x9x8 but I am unsure if that is the size of tire that came with the kit.

Any Information would be appreciated

Thank You

You wouldnt be stuck like that if you didnt have that extra drag up front ;)

Thats why I always go muddin with my buddies with the winch or i carry a come along winch. But I am goin to make skid plates for the A arms and the center section in the front so this doesnt happen so much

I think its the ATc tank that makes these conversions look a little weird. I cant believe it got stuck in that slime. Too much drag in the front must be the cause ;)

I think I have one of them also. Mine came on a 84 200es. It's a little twisted now from being t-boned but can be fixed easy enough. Do you have disc brakes on yours? Plastics on the trike exploded into little bits when it was hit. Just glad no one got hurt

Those things are so strange. I love seeing the "homemade" jobs where instead of people buying them they try to do it thereself. Truely a frankinstien..

Its close. Mine has adjusters at the top shock mount though. I did have the discs but there was no calipers or anything.

Just Got SPARKY all fixed up spent $1000 doin it. But I guess if you ride it hard you gotta pay right? Put New Clutches(centrifugal and the pack), voltage regulator, starter solenoid, key cylinder, external shift lever, D.I.D X ring Chain, front and rear sprockets, and complete chain guard case. All from Local Honda Dealer where the ATC was purchased. All I need now is a pair 20x9x8" tires for the front but I can only find 2 ply. Does anyone know if they make a 4 or 6 ply in this size?

So, are you going to make four wheeler to three wheeler conversion kits?

Get that leech thing the piss off of that front end, then put it back together as a trike, sell it to a board member, and buy a quad!

This little Machine has done me more good than any other machine out there and unless you've had one don't knock it. And i do have a 200e that I'm working on putting a kit on. And SOME people cannot afford to go out an buy a quad I've had this one for over 6 years with no problems.

Sorry I am not going to make kits to go from 4 to 3 wheels but I'd suggest taking a dirt bike front end and making it wider to fit a decent size tire. Buddy of mine did that couple years ago and it worked ok but he totaled it 4 months after finishing it so i dont have pictures
