Getto 350x finally gets a start....

Well I got my stuff back from Blackley powdercoating today around 3... So the girls and I decided to get a start on it... lol after I told them we could go see Larry the Cable guys new movie tommorow. lol I have no clue why my camera sucks so bad... but the green color is a popping neon green. I figured I would do something a little different this time..... :TrikesOwn Brett my powdercoater gave me a stellar deal on all this, I think he just broke even on sandblasting... He put in some silver metal flake that looks kool in person, and he's powdercoating my headpipe in the 1200 degree powdercoat, that will be the first time I've tried that... My gas tank was even powdercoated...

452x your the reason that I'm buildling this one... I've always like your black bike and always wanted something similar... But without all the maintenance...lol The motor in it is the old poweroll motor I bought like 5 years ago, I bought it to drop into my white 350x if it ever went... but it never did, I don't even remember what it was bumped up to.... I hope it runs... lol

Knda looks like orange crush meets mountain dew.. nice. Maybe a set of Pink Maiers or chameleon color shift paint with a yellow or blue seat? Maybe a set of white wall ATV tires with chrome douglas' rims to finish the pimpin'

Phil its not that FREAKY.... lol It sure will be easy to pick it out of a crowd....
I tore down a old set of 84R forks to steal the guts out of it today and the darn springs were stiffer aftermarket springs in there... SCORE! their not progressive springs but tighter wound.

Yeah its all Powdercoat... Even the tank and exhaust are going to be powdercoated....

I wish i could make a trike that nice but the way i ride after the first ride it would look just like it did before. Hopefuly ill make it to oregon so i can run agenst that powroll engine, I wana see how my X compares to other x's

Well I fired it up this afternoon after I got my exhaust back from the powdercoater, Had a little scare though... I fired it up and it idled real high and there was a ticking noise, so I shut it down and figured out I did'nt adjust any freeplay in the thumb throttle when I put it all back together, I cracked the oil line going up to the head and I had oil, so I fire it back up and tick tick tick pretty bad and it got louder when I reved it..... So I shut it down and come into the house to think about it... well then it hit me... duh the suckers in gear... Yeah I forgot to buy a chain of all things... so anyway I find neutral and fire it up and everything is running just ducky.... So anyway I'm feeling a lot better now since I've never heard this motor run....

I think white or black would look the best.. those are pretty much the only colors available from Maier for X's. Maybe you could paint some of your old plastics.. lol.

I'm going with black plastics... I'm still up in the air on what to use for exhaust, I have a supertrap for it, and a stock silencer, I might just use the stocker since I can pull the silent core out when I don't need to be in Hush mode, my supertrap was over the 93db last year when I got checked...
