Looks like a good buy to me. It seems like quads in Central New York always get at least a grand unless it is really beat.

Even with all that aftermarket front suspension stuff, the extended axle, and extended swinger? I priced that stuff out real quick and just that was well over $1000. Well, i wont tell him you guys didn't think it was a good deal cause hes on his way home with it now, lol

You guys can find a Warrior for less then a grand with the aftermaket stuff on it? Man, maybe I should switch to riding quads........(did I really just say that:wondering !)

You arent going to get anything better than that for a grand. If you pay less than a grand for a quad, it wont be anything like that and chances are it wont be running either.

from my exsperiance finding running quads under a grand in ny is very difficult

even in terrible condition

with the exception of beat to hell or unsuspended quads....

i am always bargain hunting buying and selling atvs

my friend just got an 87 warrior in that shape the tires where bad no head light and stuff

he traded his ytm 225 and $350 for it

so your buddy paid a fair price for a fair quad thats
plus its ebay..... you coulda talked him down if it were on the side of the road

Warriors can be made to look nice with a little elbow grease, get rid of the stupid square headlights, and add some kickin tires and rims and a chrome exhaust, you got it made!

Looks like a bargain to me. I can't buy quads in that good of shape around here for $1,000

Well the way I see it is that you cant hardly find anything that runs for under a grand. So looks good to me.

Granted cheaper is better, but hey, you got to take what you can get!

Thanks for the replies guys, he picked it up and the motor seems to have a bunch of mods to it, the power band is way different than stock. Everything works on it and it hasn't broken down yet, so hes pretty happy.

new guy here, not sure what a warrior is. I just got a 350 2wd moto4 that's in decent shape, runs 100%. gave 500$ for it. I'm pretty happy w w/ my new 3 wheelr w/ a spare tire. Mike in NY
