Well, I picked up a new toy yesterday. A bone stock 1985 Honda 200x. Great condition and runs great. It was a great find, the guy was the original owner, he bought it back in 1985, and it has only had 5 tanks of gas run through it in the last 15 years. I plan on keeping it stock and keep her looking great. Ill repaint a few things on it, and maybe powdercoat the frame. We will see.

I bought a new Rancher a couple of weeks ago but I still like riding my 85 200x. Nobody else in the family wants to ride old reliable. I bought the new Rancher so my wife and son would go riding with me.
Looks real good.
How much did you pay?

Well I just ordered a new set of Oury grips, a Clymer Manual, and a new UNI air filter(stock one was starting to fall apart) for it. Thats about all I am going to do to it until next winter when I will tear it town and repaint/powdercoat stuff. Unless something breaks...

I've had a few of them in my days and always had a place for one in the shop! I remember when I got my '85 back when I was 15 years old ! Those machines were high modded little monsters back in the day if you did some mods! I mean that was to compare to a 185S or 200S ,as far as similar sized models!! I went White Bros. stuff on mine!! I have some 200 X stuff if you need Anything!! I hope to see you guys riding this year!!

that is a nice score and seems to be in very good shape? How much did that set you back? ;)

Paid $850 for it, touch it up with some paint and it will look nearly showroom clean.
