The rear differetial should have a drain plug on the bottom or on the lower side of the diff. Let it drain for a while because it's thick oil and will take a bit. After draining, put drain bolt back in and there will be a large fill cap on the top. Fill the diff with 75 or 80 weight gear oil until it's just about level with the bottom of the fill cap. Snug up the cap and your good. The engine will have a replaceable filter. Drain plug is on bottom of engine, and there should be a removeable filter cover on either front or back of engine (Engine is sideways so look at front or rear). Put drain plug back in new oil filter and fill oil should take about 2 quarts, ask dealer for specifics. Also probobly want to do first valve adjustment. If you have'nt done one yet I strongly recommend seeing someone who has, this is not difficult but easy to mess up if not sure what to do.
I'm picking one up in 2 days so if you need more specific answers let me know and I can reference the bike.
hope this helps!!

i know how to do the valves, i own a 250x, and i found out the specs are right on the front frame member for them! also i can't find the oil filter, i read about it and it says it is only a dealer servicable filter?? there ust be a drain for the differential under the skid then? i'll have to check. thanks
