Just an update. Shelly and I have begun our re-assembly on our 110's this weekend, as we have finished "re-storing" all of the parts. This has proven to be a very fun project for both of us to work on. I would recommend trying to get your other halfs to come out for some "garage-time" as it is something both can do simultaniously. She is learing alot about ATC's and I am learning that she already knows alot about "in the garage stuff." She has really surprised me with this project. Really the only thing I have done on her 110 is the predictable hard things - axel nuts - some other tight bolts. She has dis-assebled, cleaned, sandblasted, painted, the whole 9 yards - the whole ball of wax!!!! The whole project can be viewed here:

here's just a taste of what they look like
A Couple more pics. She's a roller.
Looking good.
Got your hands full with two at the same time.

Nice projects indeed and since I love white I'll lean toward that one as my favorite. White tank too?
Great to share the project with your wife too! My wife might, just might make me lunch or something but that's about it as far as a 3 W project goes
I'll bet you can't wait to line them up with the rest of the family for a group photo! :beer
What do you all have ? Do you have a group shot of them?
Never mind as I went to your homepage and see your from PA. Cool! Now I got to go check mapquest to see WHERE in PA. Be back!
On your home page.... Is that a 93 CR 250 that was McGraths favorite year? You moto too?
Still checking your models out, very nice !
I was just up your way about 6 weeks ago. Dropped off a 185 up in Erie that I sold. Where do you ride at and Route 6 was a great ride home I might add.

Well, Huffa brings me to a question which I should ask the public here on the boards. Here's my idea:
Since the trike is all white and blue, with red plastics, I was thinking about a blue tank with white stars on it (big stars and about 5 on the tank). The the seat would be red and white strips. The old 110's as well as the old 90's have about 1 or 2 inch strips on the seat. I thought I would have it made with alternating white and red stripes. Thought this might be cool but want others opinions on what it would look like. Might call her "Spirit of '79" or "old glory".
Let me know what you all think of this scheme.

Not a bad idea at all.
Another idea is to (here I go again with white) have the tank white and have vinyl graphics (red & blue possibly) that the theme continues on into the vinyl of the seat.
Still curious about your McGrath bike though

Huffa,
What's up man - good eye, BUT it's a 92. It's for sale - Intrested???? I love it and it's like new - awesome shape, but I was tainted last year. I ride MX on it and I rode a 4-stroke, now I want one, but I can't get one till I sell it. The 4 strokes are effortless in comaprison on the track. What exactly do you mean by

I may know someone that might buy it, possibly?? The guy buys bikes L&R, so much that honest to god, I can never keep track of what He has! He buys brand new ones (4 strokes) every year. He buys 2 strokes also cause he gets bored! Must be nice man, must be REAL nice to have that kind of $$ !!!
I have a 02 CRf 450 that I bought new. Hold on, let me see if I can find a few pic's of it. It's definitly not your ordinary CRF.
I have a GREAT place for you to moto too :beer or rather know of one out your way.
I'll also see if I can find examples pertaining to your gas tank "theme".
Didn't you ever see graphic kits for motoxers that the radiator shroud vinyl theme runs right into the seat? In other words there may be a blue line and the seat may be black and blue. They contine the blue line right along the sides of the seat so it is aligned perfect with the shroud vinl graphic. A poor desription, I know, I'll see if I can find a few examples.

Until I drum up some graphic examples, check this out. Hope you like!
I have not ridden it in a year and a 1/2! Since this picture was taken I just put a brand new yosh exhaust system on and RG3 triple clamps.
The red shroud graphics I had to make myself for about 7 bucks per side, if that.
Why I say "had to" is because no one makes red ones and I like a plain simple graphic that shows up while you are riding and not just in the pits.
My whole theme I was after was white, red and black with not allowing even any other color stickers on the bike. I did take the red seal savers off fork tubes now and have W,R & black stickers on them also.
Beware of a racing 4 stroke motor though as I had trouble with the valves on this one. Some guys do and some don't. Honestly, I am thinking of going back to 2 strokes because they are simply less $$ to maintain over the years BUT I have so much $$ invested in this one that I'd bum to see this go bye-bye!
You got my email, right?

Here's Shelly's. It has turned out to be the best looking trike in my garage!!! It is a great job by her and will turn some heads at Trikefest. Just need to put some finishing touches on the engine, then install it - DONE!!!! Enjoy the pictures.:Bounce
