Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my 84' 200x. Everytime I shift from 1st to 2nd to etc My trike sounds like it's about to bog out everytime I hit the throttle. I figured it was the carb, so i went out and bought some carb cleaner. Cleaned the carb out, but when I went riding the problem still persists. My friend told me to go and buy a can of Koltz and oil up the air filter, but I figured i'd ask you guys first. Thanks in advance. Matt

Did you try taking the carb and petcock apart and cleaning them? Try just pulling the clutch in with it runing does it bog then?

I pretty much agree..check your jetting and clean the carb. Put in a new airfilter and sparky and unless it is modded...keep the stock airbox an keep the lid on. This is all only if your 200x is stock. Oh and give that 200x carb a goood clean. Lots and lots of gunk gets stuck in their. Duno bout petcock because if it is bogging down that means it might be getting too much fuel. Also make sure in your jets that your little holes are clear. Need that carb working at its best!
