If you put your bike in gear and hold the clutch, with the engine off, will it free wheel:wondering ? Mine won't and i dont know that much about the Z so i figured i would come to the experts. If it isn't supposed to do that what are some of the problems that could cause that?

it should but it will be harder because your turning everything in the engine both of mine push hard too not running.

O.K. that makes me feel a little better. So i am assuming that in order for the clutches to work properly the engine has to be turning. Yes my cable is working fine, a little stiff but the lube I just pumped through it should clear that right up, just giving it a little time to soak before i go out and test it again. So far i think it is $450 well spent, All it needed to run was the line to the back of the fuel pump replaced and it started on the second kick with choke on. I am going to replace all the hoses in a few minutes though, just wanted to come in get the answer on the clutch.
